Not recommended. Pad is terrible. Fell apart first use. The 7424 is awesome.
Makes for a quick and even application that saves your arms as well as your time. If the pad gets too saturated, probably a good idea to switch before it sprays you. Though I've only used these for waxing so far, I really like them. One time towards the end of a large vehicle, the wax seemed to retreat out of the pad all of a sudden, giving me more and more wax without any application.
Probably used this pad two dozen times over last three years (Explorer, Bonneville and minivan)I see no sign of wear. Wash between/before use - still original pad that came with my 7424 polisher.
Over though,. I lke them and I will continue to buy them even at $12 a pop. I noticed after the second washing that the glue seemed to be affected by the process. I washed the pad after both applications. I waxed both a Suburban and a large enclosed motorcycle trailer. I used this polishing pad for the first time this weekend. The pad worked very well and produced a swirl free shine. The pad is not ready to fall of but, it will surely not last for several uses.
Should come with the purchase of the buffer. Does not last that long but does the job.
